Description:
Shee Atiká Federal (SHF) is now seeking a DevOps Expert III to join our industry-leading, cloud computing team for a long-term program.
The DevOps Expert will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:
Implement and advise on CSP Savings Plans, tiered/bulk pricing, and usage-based cost strategies.
Enable cost-effective cloud consumption across Azure, AWS, and other platforms.
Support cost estimation, forecasting, and ongoing optimization.
Provide customer with self-service access to create/delete accounts, manage subscriptions, and allocate funding.
Ensure full access to Management Account (Master Payor), root credentials, and live cost data.
Configure native CSP tools for cost tagging, reporting, and dashboard creation.
Export and manipulate cost data using CSP Finance and DevOps capabilities.
Deploy and manage Cloud Management Platforms with detailed billing and custom reporting capabilities.
Lead seamless transition of Azure IaaS accounts to new reseller/distributor.
Coordinate with current and new resellers to ensure no service disruption or data loss.
Validate accurate replication of account settings, permissions, and configurations.
Maintain confidentiality and act in the customer’s best interest in all commercial engagements.
Ensure compliance with Azure Subscription and Service Limits documentation.
Requirements: Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen
Candidate must have a bachelor's degree in a technical domain/field of study
Candidate must be eligible for NACI/Public Trust Security clearance
Candidate must have at least 10 years of experience with the following:
Azure (which may be augmented by Data Center-centric application management, infrastructure, and operations)
Progressive experience in DevOps, Cloud, or IT Financial Management roles.
Candidate must have at least 3 years specializing in FinOps, cloud cost governance, or cloud optimization at enterprise scale.
Desired Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
FinOps Certified Practitioner (FCP) or FinOps Certified Professional.
Azure Certification (e.g., AZ-400, AZ-305)
Microservices Architecture
Security+ CE or equivalent
Cybersecurity certification
SAFe Agile
Work Environment
Office environment. Requires ability to provide clear, concise, accurate and timely communication, both verbally and in writing (100%). Requires ability to interact professionally with co-workers, management, and client (100%). Occasional business travel may be required. Only requested and approved expenses will be covered by SHF.
