Duties
Develop and maintain web applications using JavaScript, Ruby on Rails, C#, Python, and other relevant technologies.
Design and implement robust backend systems utilizing SQL databases such as MySQL and MS SQL Server, ensuring data integrity and security.
Build and optimize APIs for seamless integration across platforms, leveraging RESTful principles.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies to deliver high-quality software solutions on time.
Manage source code repositories with GitHub, Git, SVN, and other version control tools.
Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms including AWS and Azure, ensuring scalability and reliability.
Write clean, efficient code adhering to best practices for front-end development (HTML, CSS) and back-end services.
Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and documentation to maintain high standards of quality.
Stay current with emerging technologies and incorporate innovative solutions into projects.
Qualifications
Proven experience in web development, application development, or software engineering roles.
Strong proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, C#, Python, C++, Ruby on Rails, VBA, and .NET frameworks.
Hands-on experience working with SQL databases like MySQL and SQL Server; familiarity with database design is a plus.
Knowledge of cloud services including AWS and Azure for deployment and scaling of applications.
Familiarity with REST APIs, API integrations, GitHub/Git version control systems, SVN, and Agile development practices.
Experience with Linux environments for development and deployment purposes.
Understanding of front-end technologies including HTML/CSS for full-stack capabilities.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team using tools like GitHub or Git for version control.
