Duties
Develop, test, and deploy high-quality software applications using languages such as Java, C++, Python, C#, and JavaScript to meet project specifications and user needs.
Design and implement RESTful APIs and web services to facilitate seamless data exchange between systems.
Collaborate within Agile teams to plan sprints, review progress, and adapt development strategies for optimal results.
Maintain and enhance existing systems by troubleshooting issues, optimizing performance, and implementing new features aligned with business goals.
Manage code repositories using version control tools like GitHub, SVN, and Git to ensure code integrity and collaborative workflow.
Work with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure to deploy scalable infrastructure supporting application needs.
Integrate front-end technologies like React Express for responsive web development and user interface improvements.
Ensure security best practices are followed by implementing RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) and other security protocols to protect sensitive data.
Participate in code reviews, documentation efforts, and continuous learning initiatives to stay current with emerging industry trends in IT infrastructure, quantum engineering, and application development.
Qualifications
Proven experience in software development across multiple programming languages including Java, C++, C#, Python, JavaScript, and VBA.
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components such as Linux servers, SQL databases (MySQL, SQL Server), and cloud services like AWS or Azure.
Hands-on experience with RESTful API design, web development frameworks (React Express), and front-end development techniques.
Familiarity with version control systems including Git and SVN for collaborative code management.
Knowledge of application security practices including RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) and secure API integration.
Experience working within Agile methodologies to deliver iterative solutions efficiently.
Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues related to software deployment on Linux or Windows environments.
Background in database management using SQL or MySQL for data storage solutions.
Exposure to quantum engineering concepts is a plus but not required; a strong foundation in software engineering principles is essential.
