I. OVERVIEW OF GPBANK* On January 17, 2025, GPBank was converted into a single-member limited liability Commercial Bank with 100% capital owned by VPBank. From October 8, 2025, GPBank officially launches a new brand identity, marking a comprehensive transformation with the new name Generation of Prosperity Bank - symbolizing the journey towards an era of prosperity and sustainable development.

At the same time, GPBank is the pioneer bank in Vietnam to implement a completely new Core Banking system, built on China’s modern OneConnect Core platform. This strategic move reflects the bank’s ambition to become a technology-driven digital banking leader, not only rebuilding its entire system from scratch but also laying the foundation to replicate and transfer this model to other member units within the VPBank ecosystem.

II. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES* Analyze business requirement and identify scope of work related to Micro-service and API

Design technical integration between core systems and external/internal platforms

Create detail design for identified Micro-service

Create specification for identified API

Support to deploy Micro-service and API into production

Support to resolve incident/problem on production

Review and accept Micro-services design documents and source code delivered by partners.

Research and improve the Micro-service and API development framework/standard

Training for other team members

Your skills and experience

III. JOB REQUIREMENTSRelevant Knowledge / Expertise* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field of study: or equivalent education, training \& experience

8+ years’ experience in full-stack application development (backend and frontend).

5+ years designing and building Java applications with Spring/Spring Boot and relational/NoSQL databases (MS SQL, MySQL, MongoDB).

Strong ability to analyze and design systems, and to code/debug single-page applications using React or Angular.

Proven experience delivering responsive, cross-platform web apps and collaborating on UI/UX to ensure accessibility and usability

API-first architecture; DDD-based microservices; event- and message-driven systems

Familiar with CI/CD tools and practices (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Maven/Gradle, or equivalents).

Experience deploying applications with Docker/containers.

Proficient with source control (e.g., Git, SVN).

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Experience deploying and operating applications on public cloud platforms.

Ability to develop mobile applications with Flutter.

AWS experience/certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer) or equivalent cloud credentials.

Skills* Ability in English reading and writing, and speaking, listening (mandatory).

Can work as individual or as a team member, under stressful conditions, good teamwork attitude Self-development.

Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing, as an advocate for technological solutions.

Being able to understand and catch-up quickly with new technology

Experience of supervision of a development team
