Product Team

You’ll be joining Arrive AI’s Product Team to revolutionize Autonomous Last Mile (ALM) logistics by transforming over a decade of research, design, and customer collaboration into the world’s first autonomous logistics network and platform. Our fast-paced skunkworks team rapidly iterates, prototypes, and develops next-generation Arrive Point units, networks, and AI-powered platforms. By integrating cutting-edge hardware, robotics, IoT, software, data, AI, and manufacturing, we’re driving a bold roadmap for ALM innovation. The Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Platform Engineer with deep expertise in cloud-native service architectures to help design, build, and scale our next-generation platform. This role is DevOps-heavy and focused on building robust, distributed systems on Microsoft Azure. You will play a key role in defining infrastructure, orchestrating microservices, and ensuring reliable, high-performance operations across complex, service-based environments.

The ideal candidate is a master of containerization, orchestration, and cloud scaling with an engineering mindset that balances automation, resilience, and performance.

Responsibilities

Architect, deploy, and maintain large-scale, service-oriented platforms on Azure.

Design and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes for orchestration.

Implement and optimize event-driven architectures using message brokers

Implement and optimize video streaming services

Develop CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows to improve deployment speed, observability, and system reliability.

Ensure systems are built for scalability, fault tolerance, and high availability.

Work cross-functionally with software engineers, product teams, and security to align infrastructure with business needs.

Monitor and fine-tune system performance, applying SLO/SLI error budgets and other DevOps best practices.

Provide technical mentorship and leadership in DevOps and cloud architecture practices.

Requirements: What We're Looking For7+ years in software engineering with a strong focus on cloud platform engineering and DevOps.

Master-level understanding of Microsoft Azure services, including networking, identity, storage, compute, and monitoring.

Deep expertise with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) at scale.

Proven experience implementing microservice-based architectures and service mesh patterns.

Strong knowledge of message brokers (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus) and event-driven architectures, RPC and protobuf.

Solid grounding in scaling strategies, load balancing, and performance tuning for distributed systems.

Advanced scripting and automation experience (Bash, PowerShell, Python, or similar).

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with IoT networking and protocols such as MQTT and DDS.

Background in managing edge computing or hybrid cloud environments.

Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Pulumi).

Experience working with observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, ELK/EFK).

Prior experience with incident response and system reliability engineering (SRE) practices.

Prior experience with Policy as Code

EXTRA CREDIT: Hands-on experience with NVIDIA NIM microservices and deployment of workloads on NVIDIA DGX Cloud.

Additional:

Expect to travel up to 5 days per month.

Responsibilities include all other duties as assigned.
