Work Model: Hybrid
Duration: 12+ Month, Contract
Responsibilities
Collaborating closely with PO, QE lead, and BSA to understand business requirements and effectively translate them into technical requirements for the development team
Enhance and maintain a legacy Java-based credit application (CreditLink)
Develop backend business logic for credit product workflows
Support new product launches (e.g., new credit card offerings)
Implement regulatory-driven enhancements (e.g., dual-language support)
Integrate with multiple upstream/downstream systems
Work with MQ and event-based integrations
Participate in technical design discussions
Collaborate closely within an Agile team environment
Support production issues and ongoing application improvements
Must have skills:
5+ years of solid full-stack experience in software development, including both frontend and backend.
5+ years of Java and Restful API software development experience
Java (Strong core Java knowledge)
J2EE
Spring / Spring Boot
REST APIs
Messaging (MQ)
Event-driven integrations
Soft Skills:
Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
Ability to prioritize job duties and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Well organized, self-motivated, strong team player
Proven analytic and problem-solving skills
Highly organized, self-motivated, customer oriented
Nice to have:
2+ years of software development experience in the banking industry
Java certifications
Agile certifications
JSP
Struts (legacy)
Basic UI enhancements
Modern frameworks (Angular/React) are not required.
