Job Title: DevOps Engineer

Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Engineer with expertise in designing, implementing, and managing Atlassian tool stacks, primarily Bamboo, Bitbucket, and JIRA. The candidate will lead the platform tools team, ensuring seamless administration, integration, and performance optimization of Atlassian tools and related DevOps environments.
The role requires strong hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, and CI/CD toolsets, along with leadership capabilities to guide the team in following best practices, roadmap alignment, and product vision communication.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, administer, and enhance Atlassian tools (Bamboo, Bitbucket, JIRA).
Create, migrate, and maintain Bamboo build plans.
Perform upgrades, performance tuning, maintenance, and integration of Atlassian tools with plugins and third-party systems.
Deploy applications using Docker on Kubernetes clusters and manage high-availability environments.
Lead migration of applications from on-premises to cloud-based Kubernetes platforms.
Monitor application health, troubleshoot issues, and implement preventive actions.
Automate operational tasks using Ansible and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
Work with Linux OS and shell scripting for system-level automation.
Drive ITIL-based Configuration Management practices in a DevOps and Agile environment.
Provide team development planning to ensure adherence to best design, implementation, and operations practices.
Communicate product vision and roadmap to stakeholders while aligning with organizational priorities.
Act as a subject matter expert for Atlassian tools, keeping knowledge current and sharing insights with team members and stakeholders.

Essential Skills
Extensive experience in managing Atlassian tools (Bamboo, Bitbucket, JIRA).
Proven administration skills in Bamboo (build plan creation, migration, tuning, upgrades).
Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud application deployment.
Experience migrating applications from on-premises to cloud (Kubernetes platform).
Hands-on experience with Ansible, CI/CD pipelines, Linux, and shell scripting.
Strong understanding of ITIL processes, DevOps practices, and Agile methodologies.
Team leadership experience, guiding teams in best practices and development planning.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Python programming knowledge (advantageous).
