Analyze market trends, client needs, and competitor products to ensure the firm’s offerings remain competitive and aligned with market demand.
Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes, market developments, and emerging investment trends in the structured products space to inform product strategy.
2. Structured Product Development \& Management
Collaborate with the product development and investment teams to design, launch, and optimize structured products that cater to the needs of high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) and institutional clients.
Customize solutions for clients by tailoring structured products to match their risk appetite, investment goals, and market outlook.
Regularly monitor the performance of structured products, gather feedback from clients and IFAs, and identify opportunities for product improvements or new product offerings.
3. IFA Relationship Management \& Distribution
Establish, nurture, and manage relationships with Independent Financial Advisors (IFAs), private bankers, and wealth managers to promote structured products and drive sales.
Conduct regular training sessions, seminars, and one-on-one meetings with IFAs to enhance product knowledge, increase awareness, and ensure they are equipped to effectively promote the firm’s offerings.
Serve as a primary point of contact for IFAs, providing ongoing support and guidance to help them meet their clients' investment needs.
Expand the company’s distribution network by identifying and partnering with new IFAs, brokers, and financial advisors to enhance market penetration.
4. Sales \& Revenue Generation
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and business growth targets for structured products within the IFA channel.
Work closely with sales teams and relationship managers to drive structured product sales through effective client engagement and targeted marketing efforts.
Track and report on sales performance, pipeline development, and market trends, ensuring that targets are met and exceeded.
5. Client Relationship Management \& Solutioning
Engage directly with high-net-worth clients to understand their financial objectives and tailor structured investment solutions that align with their needs.
Provide personalized product recommendations, portfolio construction advice, and in-depth product knowledge to ensure clients receive exceptional service and value.
Strengthen relationships with key clients and partners, acting as a trusted advisor in the wealth management and structured products space.
6. Market \& Competitor Analysis
Conduct thorough market research to understand the competitive landscape and identify emerging trends in structured products and the broader wealth management space.
Use market intelligence to refine product positioning, pricing strategies, and distribution tactics, ensuring the firm’s products remain differentiated and competitive.
Prepare and present detailed market reports and insights to senior leadership to inform strategic decision-making.
7. Regulatory Compliance \& Risk Management
Ensure that all structured products and related activities comply with applicable regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Work closely with legal and compliance teams to monitor regulatory changes, ensuring the company remains in full compliance in all regions of operation.
Ensure that risks associated with structured products are well understood, communicated, and managed effectively.
8. Reporting \& Performance Tracking
Track and report on product performance, client feedback, sales achievements, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior leadership.
Provide regular updates on the business development efforts, highlighting key opportunities, challenges, and progress towards goals.
9. Qualifications:
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
Advanced certifications such as CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst), CFP (Certified Financial Planner), or other relevant qualifications are highly desirable.
Experience:
Strong experience in managing and developing relationships with Independent Financial Advisors (IFAs) and other distribution channels.
Proven track record of achieving sales and business development targets for structured products or similar investment offerings.
Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or product management within wealth management or financial services, with a focus on structured products.
Skills \& Competencies:
Strong understanding of structured products, including derivatives, structured notes, and alternative investments.
Excellent business development, sales, and relationship management skills, with the ability to work closely with IFAs and clients.
Analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with a focus on identifying market trends and client needs.
Ability to explain complex financial products in a clear and understandable way to clients and advisors.
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with experience leading training and educational sessions.
