Role description
Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced DevOps Architect with strong hands-on expertise in Azure DevOps and related automation tools. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and deployment strategies for large-scale enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Architect and implement end-to-end DevOps solutions leveraging Azure DevOps.
Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using YAML for build and release automation.
Develop automation scripts using PowerShell, TypeScript, and other scripting languages.
Define and enforce best practices for infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like ARM Templates, Terraform, or Bicep.
Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
Implement monitoring, logging, and ing solutions for proactive system health checks.
Drive security and compliance within DevOps processes (e.g., secrets management, secure pipelines).
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to DevOps engineers and developers.
Required Skills \& Experience:
10+ years of overall IT experience, with at least 5+ years in DevOps architecture and automation.
Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, Artifacts, Boards).
Expertise in YAML-based pipeline configuration.
Proficiency in PowerShell, TypeScript, and scripting for automation.
Solid understanding of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure mandatory; AWS/GCP is a plus).
Knowledge of infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, ARM templates).
Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor).
Strong grasp of CI/CD best practices, Git workflows, and branching strategies.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Nice-to-Have:
Experience with security in DevOps (DevSecOps practices).
Exposure to API management.
Knowledge of cost optimization strategies in cloud environments.
