You Are:

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Field IT Technician to support enterprise-class systems used in complex modeling and data processing environments. This role is essential for delivering hands-on technical support and implementation across on-premises and hybrid infrastructures.

The opportunity:

Provide remote technical support for enterprise applications and infrastructure, including high-performance computing environments.

Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, racks, and networking equipment in enterprise data centers.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hardware, networking, access controls, and firewalls, ensuring system reliability and uptime.

Support the deployment and configuration of software agents, tools, and endpoint applications across distributed systems.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution, including system upgrades, migrations, and lifecycle management initiatives.

Maintain detailed documentation of infrastructure, configurations, and operational procedures to support disaster recovery, version control, and system optimization.

This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.

What you need:

Working knowledge of networking, server infrastructure, and endpoint systems.

Familiarity with Windows Server environments; exposure to Linux is a plus.

Experience with firewalls, VPNs, and ISP troubleshooting is advantageous.

Strong organizational and documentation skills.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Demonstrated initiative, adaptability, and a willingness to learn new systems and technologies.
