Your Main Tasks And Responsibilities Include
Secures orders from existing and potential customers by means of visiting the customer facility and other communication within assigned accounts.
Secures opportunities to quote on customer requirements within assigned accounts.
Follows up on quotations submitted to customers within assigned accounts.
Establishes professional relationships with appropriate customer personnel (purchasing, engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, mill management, etc.).
Submits weekly activity/call reports concerning customer related activities for quotes, orders, and issues relative to customer/vendor relationship.
Provides a territory sales forecast/budget for assigned accounts.
Provides competitor analysis within assigned accounts.
Assist in collection of accounts receivable.
Assist in data collection/distribution of marketing/sales/product launch/
Assist in distribution/collection of customer satisfaction survey.
Performs nip impressions, roll audits, parts inventories and evaluations and other evaluations at assigned accounts.
Performs all other assigned duties within assigned accounts.
Travel is required for this job.
What You'll Need
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proven ability to define problems, gather and analyze data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to interpret complex technical instructions presented in mathematical or diagram form, and to manage both abstract and concrete variables.
Valid driver’s license is required.
Proficiency in PC usage and software applications.
Strong organizational skills.
Basic understanding of the papermaking process, as well as paper machinery design and manufacturing.
Desirable, knowledge of stock preparation systems, including pulpers, refiners, pressure screens, filtration equipment, and related components.
