Senior .NET Backend Developer
Location: Waterloo, ON (preferred) or Toronto, ON

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior .NET Backend Developer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with a deep backend development background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering robust eCommerce and web solutions. You will work directly with clients, shaping solutions and delivering high-impact applications.
Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain backend services using .NET (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core).
Architect scalable and performant systems to support eCommerce platforms and web applications.
Collaborate directly with clients to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and present solutions.
Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and services.
Partner with QA engineers, project managers, and cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery.
Troubleshoot and optimize application performance and scalability.
Participate in technical design discussions and mentor junior developers.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience with backend development in .NET (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core).
Strong knowledge of SQL Server, Entity Framework, and REST APIs.
Hands-on experience with eCommerce or high-traffic web applications.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS).
Solid understanding of software architecture and design patterns.
Excellent client-facing communication skills.
Nice-to-Have Experience
Payment systems and gateways (e.g., Moneris, Stripe, PayPal, etc.).
Salesforce integrations (or other CRM integrations).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and microservices architecture.
