We are
Ver.iD
(trade name of Subst.iD B.V.), and we are building the infrastructure for digital identity that fundamentally changes how people and organizations conduct online interactions. With the rise of digital ID wallets on mobile phones, such as Datakeeper, Digidentity, Yivi, the Dutch NL Wallet, and other public and commercial wallets, new secure and controlled ways are emerging for users to share their identity and data. This creates a new foundation for identification in online services.
Think of logging in without passwords, age verification, compliance and KYC checks, onboarding for insurance and webshops, and accessing government services. Complicated processes involving passport scans or utility bills disappear from the internet and are replaced by streamlined QR-code-based flows. Users retain full control over their data, while companies and governments can operate more easily, safely, and with greater privacy.
At Ver.iD, we are building the platform that enables organizations to seamlessly integrate all these different digital identity apps. Our customers don’t need to choose one wallet; their services work with all of them. Comparable to what Adyen did for payments, but then for digital identity.
The role
As a
Frontend Developer
(or Full Stack Developer with a strong frontend focus), you will work on our core product and help elevate our front-end to the highest level. You are the driving force behind high-quality interfaces and UX flows, with a strong focus on TypeScript and Vue.js. You work independently and take ownership of the entire frontend at the company. You thrive in a highly autonomous environment where you are responsible for quality, speed, and technical decisions.
What will you be doing?
Developing modern web applications in TypeScript and Vue.js
Translating Figma designs into responsive, accessible, and reusable UI components
Collaborating with product and backend teams to build features end-to-end
Building onboarding and verification flows, including QR pages and integrations with identity wallets
Working on backend services when needed, for example APIs for identity flows or embedded flows
Ensuring high quality through testing, documentation, and clean code
Actively contributing to technical decisions and architectural discussions
Who are you?
Experienced developer with at least 7 years of experience with Vue.js
University-educated (preferred)
Able to work independently and take ownership of the entire frontend development
Thrives in an environment with lots of freedom and responsibility, both remote and on-site
Holds high standards for your own work in terms of quality, speed, and reliability
Excellent command of TypeScript in frontend projects
Experienced in translating Figma designs into functional UIs
Familiar with modern frontend tooling and best practices
Experience with backend concepts and API integrations
Strong communicator and professional collaborator with product and engineering
Fluent in either Dutch or English
