Job Description
As a Full Stack Developer, you will be part of a Scrum Team of cross-functional skills, working closely with others in an Agile environment. You will contribute to building maintainable solutions for our customers and collaborate with a group of software engineering professionals. Continuous learning and developing your skills will be an important part of your role. You will develop software to meet our client’s user needs, follow best practice guidelines, and have the opportunity to help improve those guidelines. In addition to backend development, you may also contribute to the frontend within the project.
You will get opportunities to train and gain exposure to cloud technologies and modern engineering practices, while building your experience in emerging areas such as AI and machine learning.
Qualifications
Experience of working in a Scrum Team and an Agile environment
Strong software engineering background covering SOLID principles with extensive experience in Java or Python
Experience developing REST-based APIs
Knowledge and some experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools (such as Jenkins, Ansible, Packer)
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration of applications.
Front-end development experience with React or similar JavaScript libraries is required.
Experience writing unit tests and integration tests
Financial Services or Capital Markets experience is essential.
Some exposure or a strong interest in AI/ML is required.
Ability to mentor junior members on the team
Be involved in the tech community and an active observer of latest trends and technologies.
