Job Description

Responsibilities: Lead CI/CD Pipeline Development:

Design and manage Azure DevOps pipelines for continuous integration, deployment, and testing.

Implement and optimize automated workflows for mobile app deployment to the Microsoft Store and other future platforms (Google Play, Apple App Store).

Ensure the automated build, test, and deployment processes are streamlined and error-free.

Release Management Process Setup:

Define and implement a Release Management process that includes version control, approval workflows, rollback procedures, and environment management (Development, Staging, Production).

Set up processes for sideloading and phased rollouts, managing versioning and ensuring smooth releases.

Automate version management and tagging in the CI/CD pipeline to ensure consistent release cycles.

Work with the development team to define release schedules and ensure the release readiness of mobile applications.

Cloud Infrastructure Management:

Manage and optimize Azure cloud resources, ensuring smooth app deployments across multiple environments.

Collaborate with internal infrastructure teams to integrate cloud-based services for staging, production, and future scaling.

Logging \& Auditing Setup:

Implement logging systems to track deployment activities and errors, ensuring compliance with logging and auditing requirements.

Work with security teams to ensure that logging and auditing comply with regulatory and organizational standards.

Security Integration:

Ensure integration of SonarQube for code quality checks and Veracode for vulnerability scanning as part of the CI/CD pipeline.

Mentorship \& Guidance:

Provide guidance to the other DevOps Engineer on best practices, troubleshooting, and deployment challenges.

Lead discussions on optimization of deployment workflows, security policies, and performance monitoring.

Automation \& Scripting:

Automate deployment processes using PowerShell, Bash, or Python for both development and production environments.

Collaboration \& Documentation:

Work closely with the development team to ensure integration with other services and modules.

Document all deployment processes, issues, solutions, and configurations for internal team use.

Must-Have Skills:

8-10 years of experience in DevOps roles, particularly with Azure DevOps.

Strong experience with CI/CD pipeline management (preferably using Azure DevOps).

Proven experience in Release Management Process setup, including version control, approval workflows, and rollback strategies.

Proficiency in cloud infrastructure management using Azure.

Experience in automating deployments for mobile applications (Microsoft Store, iOS, Android).

Logging \& Auditing experience with tools like Azure Monitor, or custom solutions to ensure deployment traceability and compliance.

Deep understanding of DevOps best practices, including code quality and security scanning (using SonarQube, Veracode).

Excellent scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.

Strong collaboration skills with development and QA teams.

Experience in Agile environments and Agile toolsets (Jira, Confluence).

Documentation: Experience writing clear and comprehensive deployment guides, release notes, and configuration manuals.

Nice-to-Have:

Familiarity with .NET MAUI and Xamarin.
