As a
Concept Technologist
, you’ll play a pivotal role in transforming ideas into tangible product concepts that align with consumer trends and brand strategies. This newly created role will report to the Bar Development Manager and work closely with cross-functional teams. In this role you’ll bring creativity and technical expertise to the early stages of product development.
Key Responsibilities
Develop innovative product concepts from ideation through feasibility assessment.
Translate marketing insights and consumer trends into practical product solutions.
Collaborate with NPD, Marketing, Regulatory, and Operations teams to ensure concepts meet compliance, quality, and commercial viability.
Prepare concept briefs and prototypes for internal review and stakeholder presentations.
Contribute to the innovation pipeline and support ideation workshops.
About You
We’re looking for someone who combines scientific know-how with creative flair:
Tertiary qualification in Food Science, Chemistry, Nutrition, or related discipline.
Experience in FMCG, food, or nutraceutical product development (concept or early-stage preferred).
Strong understanding of ingredient functionality and formulation principles.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a passion for health and wellness.
