utilities sector
, contributing to business-critical platforms that support energy and infrastructure services used by millions of people.
The role
As a DevOps Engineer, you will strengthen a cloud-native engineering team within the utilities domain. You’ll help design, automate, and operate scalable platforms on AWS, with a strong focus on Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD automation.
You will have significant autonomy to improve automation and platform reliability, while collaborating closely with backend engineers working in
Java
, with a gradual transition towards
Kotlin
.
What you’ll do:
Design, build, and operate
AWS-based
cloud infrastructure
Manage and optimize
Kubernetes
clusters in production
Develop and maintain
Infrastructure as Code
(e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation)
Improve and automate
CI/CD pipelines
Collaborate with software engineers using
Java and Kotlin
Ensure platform reliability, security, and scalability
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance
Actively identify opportunities for automation and improvement
What you bring:
Medior or senior-level experience as a
DevOps Engineer
Strong hands-on experience with
AWS
Proven experience with
Kubernetes
in production
Experience with
Infrastructure as Code
Working knowledge of
Java
/
Kotlin
An autonomous mindset and strong focus on automation
Good communication skills and a collaborative approach
Availability to work on-site in
Arnhem 2 days per week
