We are currently seeking a dynamic individual for the role of Product Manager, someone with a proven track record and a genuine interest in power electronics. Your scope of tasks \& responsibilities
Market analysis and understanding : Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify trends, customer needs, regulatory requirements, and competitor analysis to define product strategy. Have an overview of the global market directions regarding power conversions for high power (above tens of kW) in the different applications, including energy storage, bidirectional EV charging, renewable energy integration, DC grid, etc.
Product specifications : Translate market requirements into clear product features and specifications covering software, hardware, and documentation while developing compelling business case for proposed product feature. Also ensure effective communication of requirements to the engineering team, including systems architects and product owners.
Strategic planning : Contribute to the development of a multi-year strategic power electronics roadmap aligned with organizational goals and prioritize new power electronics developments based on applications, features, and functions, considering necessary form factors.
Global market responsibility : Take the initiative to collect information pertaining to the market through both desktop studies and customer visits. Identify the right people to investigate the pain points of the existing solutions with our existing customer base as well as newly identified stakeholders. Have a global market vision for the power electronics products.
International Go-to-Market strategy : Collaborate with the marketing team to define and execute a robust go-to-market strategy for new power electronics products. Assist in developing marketing collateral and materials to communicate the product's value proposition effectively.
Sales support: Assist the sales team in key customer meetings and technical workshops. Provide expertise in addressing functional, use case, and commercial (manufacturing cost and market price level) questions from internal and external stakeholders.
Your professional profile -qualifications \& competences-
Bachelor/Master of Science degree in a technical field, preferably in Electrical engineering or fields related to power electronics, software and/or hardware.
Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a mid-sized or large industrial company.
Proven track record in successfully managing and delivering projects.
In-depth understanding of international B2B markets and dynamics.
Strong stakeholder management skills, both internal and external, on an international playing field.
Open to travel to different locations to have a close-to-field vision towards all different applications and pain points
International collaboration skillsets, working with developers, project managers, internal functions around the globe
Language skills: English is mandatory, Chinese will be an advantage.
