The Bottle-0 Sanson is seeking Duty Managers to oversee daily operations and ensure smooth service at our liquor store in the Manawatū-Whanganui region.
Key Responsibilities of the role include:
Support management in organizing, supervising, and leading the day-to-day store operations.
Ensure compliance with the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012, license conditions, and other legal obligations while maintaining a positive shopping experience.
Deliver friendly, professional service to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.
Ensure creative use of retail merchandise strategies to execute store displays, and promotional displays.
Manage stock levels, product range, and supplier coordination to maintain adequate inventory.
Assist with marketing initiatives, advertising, and in-store promotions.
Contribute to rostering, cash handling, budgeting, and health \& safety requirements.
Maintain store standards, including cleanliness, hygiene, and general upkeep.
Work towards achieving store KPIs and sales targets.
Open and close the store as required.
Sell liquor and other store products in line with responsible service practices.
The candidate will be required to work at least 30 hours per week and be paid between $24- $28 per hour.
Other Important Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience
LCQ and Manager’s certificate is required for this role, but if you don’t currently have one, we will be happy to assist you in obtaining it if selected.
Flexibility to work rostered shifts, including weekends.
Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide others.

Ability to multitask and manage responsibilities effectively.
