What you’ll do and what success looks like in this role
:
As a key member of the Bancassurance team, you will report to the Head of Bancassurance and play a vital role in executing the bank's insurance strategy.
Support strategic initiatives by conducting regular market landscape and competitive analysis. You will assist in developing insurance propositions by providing data-driven insights and research to the Head of Bancassurance.
Coordinate with insurance partners on a day-to-day basis to ensure our Life and General Insurance offerings are competitive and that service quality for our customers is consistently high.
Drive sales and engagement by helping to execute campaigns for Life and General Insurance products. You will monitor sales performance, gather feedback, and support the integration of insurance products into our digital channels.
Lead sales tracking and prepare management reports. You will analyze performance data to deliver insights that support cross-sell/upsell strategies.
Assist in risk and compliance monitoring by working with the second line of defence to maintain operational frameworks and risk controls. You will help prepare documentation for regulatory and internal reporting.
Contribute to financial tracking by assisting in monitoring financial performance, preparing reports against annual targets, and providing updates for senior management.
What Is Required And What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field.
Relevant insurance qualifications (e.g., Certificate of Proficiency in Insurance) are highly desirable.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial services, preferably within bancassurance, insurance distribution, or partnership management.
Good understanding of Life and/or General Insurance products and the regulatory landscape in Hong Kong.
Proven ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to work with data to generate insights.
Excellent communication and organizational skills in a fast-paced, digital-first environment.
A proactive and results-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership.
