Summary:
In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Software Engineering and contribute to large-scale planning related to Software Engineering deliverables. Review and analyze moderately complex Software Engineering challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Software Engineering deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Collaborate with client personnel in Software Engineering.
Responsibilities:
Supporting and sustaining existing Java based application with Angular and SQL.
Once the existing application sunsets, will support a new replacement application that is being created on the same tech stack.
Qualifications:
Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Proficient in programming with Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and AngularJS.
Hands-on experience in developing and maintaining cloud-based applications.
Strong background in database technologies such as MongoDB and SQL Server, with expertise in ETL processes, complex SQL queries, stored procedures, data modeling, and reporting tools like Business Objects.
Proven experience in developing RESTful web services using frameworks such as Spring Boot.
Solid understanding of object-oriented design principles, software design patterns, and code refactoring techniques.
Skilled in writing comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
Experience with microservices architecture, including the development of independently deployable, modular services.
In-depth knowledge of relational database design, implementation, and performance optimization.
Ability to refactor legacy code to enhance system performance, maintainability, and scalability.
Experience integrating disparate systems, services, and data sources.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Confluence and Jira (preferred).
