About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to join a dynamic team for a 6+ month contract in Sydney. In this role, you will own and drive the design and build of commercially and technically sound solutions. You’ll represent the digital and marketing technology team to stakeholders, mentor junior developers, and lead technical delivery across multiple platforms.

You will work on:

Customer Web Portal – delivering seamless digital experiences

Planner Portal – supporting external distribution networks

Internal Service Portal – enabling efficient customer service operations

Custom Forms Framework – bespoke solutions for origination and servicing

Additionally, you’ll collaborate on mobile apps and marketing stacks, including native iOS/Android apps, Adobe Experience Manager, and Adobe Experience Platform.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop robust, secure, and resilient applications using Angular.js, Node.js, Python, and Java

Maintain and enhance applications hosted in AWS/Azure/Google Cloud environments

Work with Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Git for CI/CD and containerisation

Write performant and secure code, ensuring compliance with OWASP Top 10

Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues to optimise customer experience

Innovate improvements to CI/CD methodologies and platform security

Mentor junior developers and lead peer code reviews

Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions

The Successful Candidate

You will bring:

Full stack development expertise with Angular.js, Node.js, Python, HTML/CSS

Experience with databases such as Oracle, MongoDB, or MariaDB

Strong knowledge of secure and resilient design principles

Familiarity with CI/CD environments and tools like Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes

Excellent communication skills and ability to work with unclear requirements

Cloud experience with AWS/Azure/Google Cloud

A strong desire to learn and adapt to new technologies

Desirable:

Java programming experience

Jira/Confluence familiarity

Experience in Agile and Waterfall environments

Application integration experience in large enterprise organisations
