About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front-End Developer to join our dynamic and creative team. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in building responsive, user-centric web applications within the Microsoft .NET ecosystem. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in front-end development, particularly with the Foundation front-end framework, and possess a passion for crafting elegant, high-performance digital experiences. You will work closely with our creative team, backend developers, and project managers to translate complex requirements into seamless, interactive web interfaces. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our ongoing projects, including enhancing our existing ASP.NET platforms and migrating to modern front-end technologies. This is a remote position, offering an exciting opportunity to influence innovative educational solutions from anywhere in the United States.
Qualifications
5+ years of front-end development experience with a strong portfolio of responsive web projects
Deep expertise in the Microsoft .NET Stack, including ASP.NET 4.8 (WebForms and/or MVC)
Proficiency in C# programming language
Experience building or consuming WebAPI / RESTful services
Professional experience with the Foundation front-end framework
Expert knowledge of core web technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, XML
Hands-on experience with Visual Studio IDE and Team Foundation Server (TFS) for source control
Experience with Telerik Ajax Control Toolkit
Strong understanding of responsive design principles and mobile optimization
Passion for front-end architecture and continuous learning of new web technologies and best practices
Responsibilities
Translate complex requirements and mockups into fully functional, interactive digital experiences using HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and the Foundation framework
Develop, enhance, and maintain web pages within the existing ASP.NET (WebForms/MVC) platform
Design and implement optimal structure and layout for web pages, prioritizing user experience and accessibility
Create new user-facing features with a focus on both functionality and aesthetic appeal
Hand-code clean, semantic HTML and scalable CSS, ensuring responsiveness and mobile compatibility
Optimize web applications for speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility
Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate front-end components with C# and WebAPI/RESTful services
Identify opportunities to improve conversion rates and implement A/B testing strategies
Assist in migrating legacy front-end components to modern web technologies
Participate in code reviews, team meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives
