About The Role
We are seeking a talented Front End Engineer to join our platform engineering team. In this pivotal role, you will lead the technical development of our frontend components, playing a crucial part in shaping the next generation of human data collection infrastructure for AI and machine learning development. Your work will directly influence our product strategy and contribute significantly to our startup's growth trajectory. The ideal candidate will be passionate about engineering excellence, possess a strong understanding of modern frontend technologies, and thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment. Qualifications
Proficiency in React or a recent JavaScript framework
Experience with Storybook and CSS preprocessors
Strong understanding of modern front-end development principles and best practices
Experience collaborating with designers and product managers throughout the product lifecycle
Ability to write high-quality, well-tested, and maintainable code
Knowledge of product and design workflows
Excellent communication skills and adaptability in a dynamic environment
Ambition to continuously test, optimize, and improve code and queries
Familiarity with current trends in front-end development
Nice To Have Qualifications Include
Familiarity with Python (Django)
Interest or experience in developer tooling enhancement
Exposure to data science or data engineering
Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end development of frontend components, from architecture and specifications to deployment
Translate product roadmaps into actionable features and tasks
Collaborate effectively with designers and product managers to deliver user-centric solutions
Conduct user testing sessions with stakeholders to gather feedback and refine features
Implement best practices for code quality, testing, and maintainability
Stay updated on current frontend trends and incorporate innovative techniques into development processes
Participate in code reviews, team meetings, and planning sessions to ensure alignment and quality
Contribute to continuous improvement of developer tooling and workflows
