The Team You'll Join: Spend Adoption
In Spend Adoption, our mission is to create delightful first Wise card experiences that establish confidence and secure our place in our users' wallets.
Your work will directly shape the physical and digital debit card products that our customers use every day. Our team owns the end-to-end journey of the Wise card: from issuance, security, and manufacturing to the critical moments of activation and initial usage.
This is a high-impact role on a product where customers spend hundreds of millions every month, and our volumes continue to grow an incredible 50-90% year-on-year!
Qualifications
This role is an excellent fit for you if you have:
Solid front-end experience: You have a strong understanding of JavaScript and modern browser technologies, with hands-on experience using UI libraries like React to build complex applications.
A passion for the user: You have a track record of building delightful user experiences. You don't just ship features; you care deeply about the user's journey and have a strong sense of good UX, design, and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills: You can clearly articulate complex technical concepts to fellow engineers, product managers, designers, and other stakeholders.
A collaborative and proactive mindset: You thrive in a team environment but are also comfortable solving problems independently. You take initiative and own projects from start to finish.
It’s a big plus if you also have:
Experience with TypeScript, Node.js, or Server-Side Rendering (SSR) frameworks like Next.js.
A strong belief in and passion for building accessible web applications for everyone.
Some experience or interest in back-end development (our stack includes Java and Spring).
Prior experience in a product engineering environment, working in a fast-paced, high-impact team.
