Job Summary
The Cloud Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and optimizing cloud-based infrastructure and services. The role focuses on ensuring scalability, security, availability, and cost efficiency of cloud environments while supporting application and infrastructure teams.
Key Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS / Azure / GCP
Implement and manage compute, storage, networking, and database services
Looking for a candidate who is capable of establishing a data Lakehouse to enhance customer data access with improved ease, speed and security.
Looking for a candidate who has played a key role in administering Microsoft 365 Administration (Entra or Active Directory, Exchange, Security, Endpoint) for clients, maintaining a good security record with no incidents.
Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, ARM, or CloudFormation
Monitor cloud resources for performance, availability, and cost optimization
Implement security best practices, IAM policies, and compliance controls
Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows
Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and application issues
Manage backup, disaster recovery, and high availability solutions
Collaborate with development, DevOps, and security teams
Maintain documentation and operational runbooks
Participate in cloud migrations and modernization initiatives
Required Skills \& Technical Competencies
Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform:
AWS (EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch)
Azure (VMs, VNets, Storage Accounts, Azure AD, Monitor)
GCP (Compute Engine, VPC, Cloud Storage, IAM)
Strong understanding of
networking concepts
(DNS, TCP/IP, load balancing, firewalls)
Experience with
Linux and/or Windows server administration
Proficiency in
scripting
(Python, Bash, PowerShell)
Experience with
containers and orchestration
(Docker, Kubernetes)
Knowledge of
monitoring, logging, and alerting tools
Familiarity with
CI/CD tools
(GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI)
