WSP in Australia is seeking a motivated professional Civil Engineer with at least two (2) years' experiene to join our team working across mine construction, geotechnical investigations, and process assessment projects.

The Opportunity
In this role, youâll have the chance to develop your capability in evaluating, planning, and overseeing mineârelated construction and assessment activities. Youâll gain broad exposure across geotechnical investigations, design support, project planning, and client engagementâbuilding a strong foundation for your engineering career.
What Youâll Do
Youâll contribute to a wide variety of projects through activities such as:
Field \& Technical Work
Conduct geotechnical desktop and field investigations
Manage fieldwork operations while ensuring safety and collecting highâquality data
Undertake siteâbased QA/QC activities and monitor construction activities
Design, Reporting \& Project Support
Prepare technical deliverables, specifications, and proposals under supervision
Assist in project planning and coordination with clients and contractors
Apply engineering methods to solve realâworld challenges
Professional Growth \& Collaboration
Participate in mentoring programs and company development initiatives
Work closely with engineers across the wider WSP business
Contribute to improved client satisfaction and project outcomes
About You
Youâre an earlyâcareer engineer who brings curiosity, initiative, and a desire to learn. Youâll thrive here if you enjoy handsâon work, technical problemâsolving, and collaborating with others.
We're looking for someone with:
Bachelorâs degree in Engineering (Civil, Geotechnical, or related)
2â4 yearsâ experience in civil or geotechnical engineering
Developing skills in report writing, cost estimation, and proposal preparation
Willingness to learn, take feedback, and grow your capability
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage time effectively
A collaborative mindset and commitment to âBest for WSPâ outcomes
Understanding of SHEQ requirements and safetyâfirst values
Membership in Engineers Australia or participation in a Professional Development Program is highly regarded.
