Weâre looking for a Frontend Designer/Developer to design and build next-gen AI SaaS products.
âThat doesnât look rightâŚâ
Thatâs the kind of thinking we value most around here. If something feels off, and your instinct is to question it, youâre our kind of person.
Weâre Wubbleyou.
Wubbleyouâs mission is to assemble a team of great people - treat them well, and then build great software to make the world a better place. We bring awesome web and mobile tech products to market, which allow businesses to create scale they didnât have before.
Read about us here.
What weâre looking for
We build disruptive tech products that set the bar in niche industries, we build web platforms and mobile apps that people
want
to use. Right now, weâre shipping great products, with strong UI/UX; but we want to raise the bar again with a frontend developer who is a strong designer, and wants to build beautiful, intuitive experiences and bring them to life in code.
TL;DR: Weâre looking for a great designer who can also ship clean frontend code. If youâre strong on design and can code, we want to talk to you. We use Vue, and we can teach you that if needed.
We are building great AI tools to speed up code creation, allowing you to focus on creating the best experience. Weâre finding that using tools like Figma actually slows us down, and creating full Vue prototypes is now faster by pairing great frontend designer/developers with AI, and it delivers a better experience for everybody.
If youâre Tony Stark or Pepper Potts, weâre building the iron suits which allow you to deliver the best possible experiences.
Weâve created an amazing team, youâll join a lead developer, business analyst, project manager, quality assurance engineer and a team of competent developers â this is the team that will truly empower and cheerlead you.
âBut Mark, thatâs 2 separate roles!â
I know, I know â design and development are two different things đ
Weâre a small business â wearing a few hats is natural. If youâre excited to become skilled across multiple areas, this is the opportunity for you. We will find balance within your working hours.
Does building genuinely great experiences excite you?
If so, we want to talk to you.
Because right now, we have 3 problems:
đĄ We ship valuable features fast, but we need a person dedicated to frontend design/development who is creating amazing experiences
đĄ We build products used by millions of people, and create our clients multi-million-pound revenue streams - the decisions we make affect millions of people - we need someone thinking about that all day every day
đĄ We want to build long term design assets into the business, so that every design hour spent on building design components, is spent building reusable components thatâŻlevel up every future product that we build
Who You Are
Proactive \& Resourceful:
You see opportunities for positive change, and act on it. Whether youâve tackled a tough situation, lived abroad, or taken on something outside your comfort zone â youâve seen something that irks you and have done something about it
Can Follow Process:
We have things which work now, they just need to be done! You want to get those things done too, to generate results
Provocateur:
You love testing new ideas, experimenting with tools, and trying better ways to do things. You want to try the scary things too
Builder at Heart:
Youâre excited about creating something meaningful and are willing to wear multiple hats to make it happen
Coachable:
Youâre open to learning, challenging ideas and being challenged on your ideas, and willing to change mindset and thinking
Detail-Oriented \& Bold:
You have a natural eye for when somethingâs off - and you donât ignore it. Youâre the one who flags it before it becomes a problem. You speak up when things need fixing.
Tools you will use and will be trained with (not exhaustive)
đ¨ Claude Code:
This is how we empower you to create components, fast. It allows you to focus on crafting experience, used correctly it accelerates you
đ¨ Playwright:
Youâll learn how to write automated end-to-end tests using Playwright. Weâll provide training in JavaScript to get you to a confident level, even if youâre new to it.
đ¨ ClickUp:
To keep track of workload, and contribute to our shared understanding of where we are on a project, e.g.âŻthe user stories youâve created designs for.
đ¨ GitLab:
To collaborate on projects, pull test environments, and follow changes made to the platforms, commit your frontend work and run automated tests
đ¨ Notion:
For documentation.
What youâll be doing
Ownership of product design across web and mobile projects: delivering design within our discovery journeys, creating UX flows, UIs, and strong experiences
Reporting to our Lead Developer (who is also a strong designer/full-stack developer), and collaborating to create great products
Working with our Business Analyst, to translate customer and business goals into clear journeys, states, and components, and our Quality Assurance Engineer to validate the quality of the experience
Creating project design libraries - our philosophy is to build assets first - the asset this role will build, is a strong library of components that any developer may use to create strong product experiences in the future
Building internal libraries we may use across any project, using Vue \& Tailwind.
Working with our team to strengthen usability and accessibility; turn complexity into clarity.
What youâll bring
The ability to review a productâs user stories, measures of success, objectives and challenges, and create amazing clickable prototypes that speak to these
The ability to create exceptionally designed web platforms and mobile apps, and turn these into a Vue frontend (we will teach you Vue if needed)
Strong grasp of UX, and simplifying sometimes difficult concepts
Asset focused mindset: you care about coherent patterns and scalable component libraries, building assets is a core principle in our development team
Ability to communicate decisions clearly, receive feedback, and iterate.
Growing with us
Weâre a small, ambitious team, and your growth is part of our plan. Youâll:
Be creating genuinely amazing experiences - we want to let you loose and empower you, our team will back you and collaborate with you to do this
Expand your skill set into areas like automation, dev tools, or product thinking. We want to empower you with AI - we believe AI empowers great people, it DOES NOT replace them
Take on more ownership as we scale, if that excites you
Build a strong foundation for a career in product design, experience and beyond
Nice to have
Experience designing for B2B, SaaS, or complex multiârole platforms.
Interactive design for microâinteractions and transitions - you may already have the ability to make a product
feel
great to use, not just make it great to look at.
Frontend experience with Vue 3/Pinia/Vite; Tailwind CSS and Playwright.
