Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Administrator to manage and maintain our organization's IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of our network and server environments. This role involves working with a variety of operating systems, cloud platforms, and enterprise software to support business operations and drive technological innovation.
Duties
Manage and support cloud services including AWS and Azure, ensuring optimal performance and security.
Maintain virtualization environments using VMware and ESXi, including configuration, troubleshooting, and upgrades.
Administer databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and NoSQL solutions; optimize database performance.
Configure and manage operating systems including Windows and Linux across servers and workstations.
Implement and troubleshoot DNS, VPNs, REST APIs, and computer networking components to ensure seamless connectivity.
Develop automation scripts using Bash (Unix shell), Python, Shell Scripting, and other scripting languages to streamline operations.
Utilize DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes to facilitate continuous integration/deployment pipelines.
Monitor system health, perform regular backups, apply patches, and ensure security compliance across all platforms.
Collaborate with development teams to support application deployment using JavaScript, Java, T-SQL, PL/SQL, and other technologies.
Document system configurations and procedures; provide technical support for troubleshooting complex issues.
Qualifications
Proven experience managing enterprise IT environments with a strong understanding of operating systems (Windows/Linux).
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
Proficiency in virtualization technologies including VMware ESXi.
Strong knowledge of database management systems: SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, NoSQL databases.
Familiarity with computer networking concepts such as DNS configuration, VPN setup, REST APIs.
Ability to develop automation scripts using Bash (Unix shell), Python, Shell Scripting.
Experience with DevOps tools like Git and Jenkins; knowledge of Kubernetes is a plus.
Understanding of security best practices for network infrastructure and data protection.
