Responsibilities
Develop core product features:
strategy workspace
, submissions, dashboards, permissions, and collaboration tools.
Build and maintain
backend services \& APIs
(auth, user/org, strategy metadata, results, logs).
Integrate with quant systems: job runners, backtesting/validation pipelines, data services, and monitoring.
Implement
role-based access control
, audit trails, and secure data handling (on-prem friendly).
Improve reliability and performance: caching, queues, observability, CI/CD, automated tests.
Requirements
Strong experience with
TypeScript/JavaScript
and modern web frameworks (
React/Next.js
preferred).
Backend development experience (Node.js/NestJS or similar); solid understanding of
REST/gRPC
, databases (
PostgreSQL/Redis
).
Familiar with
Docker
, Linux, Git, testing, and production deployment practices.
Product mindset: can translate requirements into clean UX and robust systems.
Nice to Have
Experience with
Python
services (quant pipelines), WebSockets/realtime data, RBAC/security, on-prem deployments, Kubernetes.
Fintech/trading platform exposure.
