The Senior Full Stack Engineerplays an important role in building and maintaining the systems that power our digital platform and customer experience.

About You:

You’re an experienced engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and building reliable systems that scale. You take pride in writing clean, production quality code and maintaining systems that support real business operations.

You’re comfortable working across backend services, APIs, and infrastructure, and enjoy collaborating with both technical and non-technical teams to turn ideas into practical solutions.

There are four main areas to this role:

Website Platform Development:

Maintain and improve the company’s website platform and digital customer interfaces

Implement new functionality and performance improvements to enhance customer experience

Support website infrastructure and platform integrations

Experience working with WordPress environments is beneficial, but not the primary focus of the role

API Development and Systems Integration:

Design and implement REST APIs that support internal and external system communication

Develop and maintain integrations with third-party platforms and internal data sources

Implement authentication, validation, error handling, and logging across integrations

Ensure reliable communication between systems using APIs, webhooks, or event-driven workflows

Systems Architecture and Backend Development:

Design, develop, and maintain backend services that support our digital platform

Write production quality code with a focus on reliability, performance, and security

Build internal tools and services that support marketing, operations, and customer experience

Maintain and evolve existing systems while improving overall platform stability

Cloud Infrastructure and Platform Management:

Manage and maintain our AWS cloud infrastructure

Monitor system performance, uptime, and security

Maintain deployment workflows and infrastructure reliability

Ensure the platform remains scalable, resilient, and secure

The most important thing is to build reliable systems and continuously improve the technology that supports our business. Responsibilities are not limited to those listed above, as the role may expand to include other related technical initiatives.

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer, Software Engineer, or similar role

Strong backend development experience with Python, PHP, or JavaScript, Node

Experience designing and implementing REST APIs

Experience building and maintaining system integrations

Experience working with cloud infrastructure such as AWS

Strong experience with modern development workflows including version control and deployment pipelines

Experience writing production-level code and debugging complex systems

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Comfortable collaborating across teams to deliver technical solutions

Additional Skills That Are Valuable:

Experience working with CMS-based platforms such as WordPress

Experience integrating CRM or marketing platforms

Experience with analytics or data infrastructure

Experience contributing to user interface or customer experience improvements

In this role, you’ll be based at our stunning head office at 459 Eastern Ave, Toronto. Our space is designed to inspire, featuring a private gym, showers, bike storage, and a sprawling outdoor patio with breathtaking views of the Toronto skyline. Plus, we’re just minutes from the beaches.

You’ll work closely with leadership and internal teams to shape and maintain the technology that supports our operations and customer experience.
