Job Description

YATA Limited is a reputable department store and supermarket operator with our flagship store in Shatin. We aim to bring exciting shopping experience to our customers through delivering quality Japanese products and innovative engagements. The Company currently runs 15 branches across Hong Kong with over 1,000 employees.

The incumbent is responsible for overall management of store development projects, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all processes are consistent with timely delivery.

Responsibilities Lead a team of cross functional and external professional to provide end-to-end execution in new store development, store renovation and related projects

Maintain the brand image and standard by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders in the design and construction process

Monitor project budget and report variances to the management

Negotiate all cost/pricing with vendors/contractors for cost control during the process

Ensure projects are realized according to agreed plan, budget and quality levels

Manage proper procurement process in compliance with the Group’s requirements

Manage technical support team in providing maintenance support to stores in a timely and cost-effective manner

Lead the team for continuous improvement and development

Perform ad-hoc projects as directed by the management

Requirements Degree holder in construction, building services, architecture, project management or related disciplines

At least 10 years of relevant retail experience

Experience in architectural and design programs such as AutoCAD, Photoshop, 3D or equivalent

Able to communicate effectively across team and organization, lead and influence cross functional departments

Strong team player, good in building professional relationships with external stakeholders

Able to meet tight deadline and agreed budget

Excellent project management skills, strong analytical skills and solution-driven

Open-minded with Can-do attitude

Proficient in MS Office

Lead the team for continuous improvement and development
