Position Summary:
Automation Project Engineer for Hong Kong and overseas projects in automated parking \& warehouses, AGV\&AMR logistics. Responsible for system design support, project coordination, on-site deployment, commissioning and maintenance. This role will report to senior project manager in Hong Kong and work closely with engineering and client teams to ensure on-time project delivery with quality and lifecycle maintenance. We will provide long-term career development aligned with global expansion.
Senior level can be Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage on-site installation, commissioning and maintenance of automation system.
Assist engineering team within system commissioning, calibration and optimization.
Act as the main liaison with main contractor, clients and other site stakeholders to coordinate schedules, power, safety, and site access.
Develop and execute maintenance and contingency plans, including inspections, servicing and fault response.
Coordinate technical issues support; enforce quality \& safety standards and identify operational risks; and build \& maintain maintenance reports and fault records
Qualifications:
Associate Degree or above in Automation, Mechanical, Electrical, Systems Engineering, or related disciplines.
Minimum 3 years’ experience as a project engineer in automation \& robotics, or related industrial projects in Hong Kong.
Solid understanding of automation systems, including mechanical and electrical principles.
Hands-on experience with PLCs, sensors, drive systems and automation equipment.
Hands-on experience in AutoCAD tool with strong technical documentation skills.
Fluent English \& Cantonese; Good Mandarin.
Strong communication, customer-facing, problem-solving, and adaptability.
Fast learner with a hands-on mindset and willingness to grow across multiple scopes.
Experience with AGV\&AMR, automation or intelligent logistics systems is preferred.
