Position Summary:
Automation Software Engineer for Hong Kong and overseas projects in automated parking \& warehouses, AGV\&AMR logistics. Focus: software requirements, coordination between Mainland China software engineers with clients, documentation, design, testing, and maintenance. This role will report to software department manager in Shenzhen, with long-term career development aligned with global expansion.
Tiered roles:
Junior: Meets subset of qualifications; training and promotion paths provided for growth.
Senior: Meets most/all; leads complex projects.
Note: Occasional travel for meetings; collaboration with Mainland China multiple engineering team. With some on-site work at Hong Kong Airport and other project sites in Hong Kong.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide software maintenance, troubleshooting, technical support and customer training.
Participate in software testing (both simulation/on-site) and track project progress.
Gather customer software requirements; document those requirements through UI prototypes, flowcharts, specification and other documentation.
Deliver requirements documents to and collaborate with software dev team on implementation, coordination and optimization throughout the development process.
Drive software developing process well comply with Hong Kong and oversea regulations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Software/Industrial Engineering, Automation or related.
3+ years software working experience as below:
Software requirements management, prototyping (UI tools, such as Sketch, Adobe XD, or Figma), software unit and system testing, trouble shooting and maintenance.
Basic IT system architecture understanding and practical network knowledge
Electromechanical basics and troubleshooting in AGV/Automation are preferred
Strong communication, customer-facing, problem-solving, and adaptability.
Fluent English \& Cantonese; Good Mandarin.
