Responsibilities:
System Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues in trading/settlement systems for equities (HK, China Connect, etc.), OTC products (Bond, Fund, FCN, SN, RP/RRP, AQ/DQ, etc.), and derivatives across global markets. Monitor critical batches (EOD/SOD, reconciliations, corporate actions) and uphold SLAs.
Business Requirement Analysis: Partner with traders, operations, and compliance teams to capture user needs, document specifications, and coordinate implementation with developers.
Data Analysis: Utilize advanced SQL skills to validate data integrity, generate ad-hoc reports, and isolate root causes of system anomalies.
Cross-Border Collaboration: Work with Taipei HQ development team and HK development team on system enhancements, UAT, and post-release support, and manage releases with clear rollback plans.
Operational Resilience: Provide prompt support during market hours (global markets), settlement cycles, and system upgrades (overtime/weekend work required as needed).

Requirements:
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
2–4 years as an AP Support Engineer / System Analyst in securities brokerage firm or investment banking.
Preferred hands-on knowledge of:
Equity trading/settlement workflows (e.g., HKEX T+2 settlement, China Connect mechanics).
OTC product lifecycles (BOND, FUND, FCN, SN, RP/RRP, AQ/DQ, etc.).
Futures/options systems (preferably across APAC/EMEA markets).
Expertise in SQL (complex queries, performance tuning, data validation).
Proficiency in log analysis, API testing, and debugging (experience with Bloomberg Fixnet, Fidessa, or other fix is a plus).
Fluency in Mandarin, English and Cantonese (written/spoken) for seamless coordination across HK/Taipei/global teams.
Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to continuous learning.
Thrives under pressure; willing to work extended hours during critical cycles (e.g., month-end settlement, system migrations).
