Data Engineer
Which are your responsibilities?
As a
Data Engineer
, you will:
Design, build, and maintain
ETL pipelines
to collect, transform, and load data from various sources (databases, REST APIs, flat files, etc.).
Model and manage
relational and analytical databases.
Ensure the
quality, reliability, and performance
of data flows.
Collaborate closely with Data Science, BI, and Product teams to meet business needs.
Ad-hoc support for reporting activities within the Data \& Reporting Team (
Power BI, Ad-hoc queries
)
Automate and document data processing workflows.
Contribute to defining and improving the company’s overall
data architecture
.
What are your skills and experiences?
Technical skills:
Strong command of
SQL
and relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc.).
Solid experience in
Python development
for data processing and manipulation (pandas, SQL alchemy, etc.).
Proven experience building and maintaining
ETL / ELT pipelines.
Experience working with
REST APIs
(data integration, consumption).
Good understanding of data formats (JSON, CSV, Parquet, etc.).
Experience with
Django
is a plus.
Familiarity with
cloud environments
(
AWS
) is an advantage.
Soft skills:
Strong collaboration and communication skills.
Analytical mindset and attention to detail.
Curiosity and eagerness to learn new technologies.
Good knowledge in French/Dutch and with a minimal understanding of the other language. English is required.
What is your profile?
Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field (Bachelor’s or Master’s level);
At least 3 years of professional experience in a similar role.
Passionate about data, systems, and building efficient data solutions.
