What you will do
You will lead the Production Graphic Unit, shaping the visual direction for our ecosystem (Zalo, Zing, zVideo, zStyle, zVAS - Value Added Services) using specialized internal technologies
Define Visual Direction \& Art Style: Directly establish the art direction, mood boards, and core visual styles for each product line. You are the decision-maker for the "visual look \& feel" before it goes into mass production;
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Owners to understand business goals; collaborate with UI/UX Designers to ensure experience consistency; and direct the Graphic Design (Execution) team to bring concepts to final realization;
Strategic Alignment: Ensure that all visual decisions align seamlessly with UX direction and product objectives, ensuring every graphic element serves a clear purpose;
Quality Control (QC) \& Appraisal: Act as the "Visual Gatekeeper." Review and approve outputs, ensuring they strictly adhere to the defined Art Style and meet high standards of composition and color;
Systemize \& Optimize Internal Tools: Translate abstract art styles into logical rules and parameters for internal tools. Master these proprietary in-house tools and collaborate with Engineers to continuously refine the automated output quality;
What you will need
Mindset \& Experience: Strong background in Art Direction or Visual Quality Control. You do not need to be a manual crafter, but you must have a "Lead" mindset to judge what is beautiful and effective;
Visual Appraisal: Exceptional ability to audit and critique visuals. You can instantly spot errors in lighting, composition, or deviations from the original Art Style;
Typography Mastery: Deep understanding of typography rules (kerning, hierarchy, font pairing). You understand exactly why a text layout fails and can instruct the system or team to fix it;
Tech-Adaptive Mindset: No traditional design software skills (Adobe/Figma) required. Instead, you must demonstrate a strong capability to learn and master proprietary internal software quickly;
Logical \& System Thinking: Ability to break down a complex Art Style into specific rules and parameters to optimize the automation process.
