Job Description

As the Product Manager for Zeekr Australia, you will;

Develop and execute product and commercial strategies to drive vehicle volume, market share, revenue, and profitability across the assigned automotive portfolio.

Identify and deliver growth opportunities across model mix, grades, pricing, and feature strategies.

Lead business case development for new models, model year updates, and local specification changes.

Support end-to-end vehicle product development, including localisation, homologation inputs, and market readiness.

Conduct competitor benchmarking covering pricing, specifications, technology, performance, and ownership proposition.

Manage the full vehicle product lifecycle, from launch and updates through to run-out and end-of-life planning.

Partner closely with Sales to optimise mix, incentives, and go-to-market strategies for the assigned portfolio.

Work collaboratively with Marketing, Aftersales, and Network teams to ensure strong product positioning and retail execution.

Own the assigned vehicle portfolio, lead new model and model year launches, and deliver strategic initiatives aligned with brand and market objectives.

Drive action and accountability across cross-functional teams (Product, Sales, Marketing, Aftersales, Supply Chain, HQ) to deliver launch plans on schedule.

Proactively identify launch risks (supply, certification, pricing, readiness), implement mitigation plans, and escalate where required.

Scope, lead, and deliver vehicle, feature, software (OTA), and process change initiatives.

Provide regular launch and portfolio performance updates to leadership, highlighting risks, issues, and strategic recommendations.

Requirements:

Planning \& Process:

Demonstrated experience working to OEM product and launch plans, developing and implementing structured processes to support vehicle development, localisation, homologation inputs, and market readiness.

Pressure \& Delivery:

Proven ability to operate in complex OEM environments, managing multiple global model programs, meeting critical gateway and launch milestones, and driving alignment across regional teams and HQ stakeholders.

Communication \& Presentation:

Experienced in delivering clear, confident vehicle and product presentations to senior leadership, global HQ teams, and regional sales and dealer networks.

Commercial \& Analytical Thinking:

Strong commercial acumen supported by analytical skills to evaluate vehicle performance, pricing, grade mix, and competitor positioning, enabling informed OEM portfolio and investment decisions.

Relationship Management:

Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with HQ, regional functions, dealer networks, and external partners to influence outcomes and ensure successful product launches.

Language \& Communication Skills:

Fluent in English; Mandarin proficiency is an advantage for effective communication with HQ and cross-border stakeholders.

Experience \& Background:

Over 4 years of experience in OEM automotive product management, product marketing, or premium automotive brands, with hands-on involvement in vehicle launches, model year updates, and lifecycle management.
