You’re a Site Reliability Engineer who believes great systems are observable, resilient, secure, and boring in production. You operate at the intersection of software engineering and operations—designing platforms and practices that help teams ship confidently and recover quickly when things go wrong.

Your Role as a Zenika Consultant:

As a consultant, you’ll take on client projects where your seniority and expertise will drive complete web solutions. You’ll work alongside client teams to:

Design, measure, and continuously improve application performance, availability, and reliability, using SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets to guide decisions

Build and maintain automation-first systems for provisioning, deployment, scaling, and recovery, relentlessly reducing manual toil

Support and evolve CI/CD and deployment practices, ensuring releases are safe, observable, and easy to roll back

Implement and own end-to-end observability across infrastructure and applications—metrics, logs, traces, and meaningful alerting

Lead and participate in incident response, performing structured root cause analysis and driving long-term reliability improvements

Enable safe change management by assessing risk, defining rollback strategies, and helping teams balance speed with stability

Communicate clearly during and after incidents through user-facing impact summaries, reports, and postmortems

Embed application and cyber security best practices into platforms, pipelines, and operational workflows

Create and maintain high-quality documentation including runbooks, playbooks, architectural decisions, and operational guides

What you bring:

Singaporeans or PRs Only

5 years experience in a similar capacity as SRE or DevOps

Strong software engineering fundamentals; you’re comfortable reading and writing production code

Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, containers, and modern delivery tooling

A deep belief in automation, observability, and continuous improvement

A calm, structured approach to problem-solving—especially under pressure

Clear communication skills and a consulting mindset
