Interview Stages
- Screen: recruiter fit and motivation check.

Preparation Plan (2–3 Weeks)
- Coding reps: daily DS&A practice with timed sessions and review notes.
- Design reps: 8–10 system design prompts; focus on trade-offs and failure domains.
- Behavioral: STAR stories for impact, conflict, failure, leadership.
Closing the Offer
- Signal enthusiasm; ask about timeline and remaining concerns.
- Share constraints (start date, comp expectations, level fit) and probe flexibility.
- Prepare negotiation anchors and alternative value (sign-on, remote stipend, education budget).
